Please help have a problem with water tank on motorhome.When i put in water it blows back out blows out where you put it in

I have to fill mine really slow or it will blow out the fill hole around the hose. Are you sure it is not really full? Can you hear the water going in? Slow the faucet to a trickle. Les us know
