The water lines inside your RV are 1/2". 5/8" hoses do not give you more water unless the water pressure is very low at the source, and that is rare. 1/2" is easier to store. Your choice. I use 1/2" with no problem in a 31 ft. class C motorhome. I don't use a water hose for draining the grey water because I flush my drain holes with the grey water after draining the black water as you are supposed to do.

5/8". Sometimes the food that might go down the drain from the sink can be large enough to block up the 1/2" hose. This is only for the grey of course. For fresh water the 1/2" will work fine.

it realy makes no differance ,they both will supply plenty of water.
