We altering mattress size
We would like our king size mattress cut down to a queen size. The king has little side room and we have a queen at home and really don't need a king on the road. Anyone have any ideas?

If it is a foam mattress, you may have a removable mattress cover which you can take to someone who sews and take a foot off of the width. If it does not have a zipper, you can carefully cut open a seam, since it is going to resewn anyway. The foam itself can be easily cut with one of those electric carving knives.
