We altering mattress size
We would like our king size mattress cut down to a queen size. The king has little side room and we have a queen at home and really don't need a king on the road. Anyone have any ideas?

Go buy a queen mattress that you like and replace the king. Easier, les hassles, might be cheaper in the long run. Unless it is an all foam mattress, there will be metal springs that need to be cut down plus the padding.
