he was trying to stick you with a defective piece of merchandise. anybody who would carry through with that is a fool. JMHO

It could very well be a deception by the owner and if so, I agree with you. On the other side, we don't have any facts at all.
what difference does it make (to quote old what's her name) if it is a manufacturing defect or a defect caused by poor maintenance? a defective unit is defective, period.
and since the first inspection or walk around was the one at the buyers residence, a slapped together fix was obvious at that time.
when I traded in my motorhome I told the dealer the four "defects" that I was aware of. all minor as a matter of fact.
we often see posts here where the answer to a defective unit is to trade it in or sell it. how many of those defects get repported to a potential purchaser.?
I believe we have "facts" of the furring strips on the wall behind the davenport?
