I am not defending the seller, or condemning him either. I need more facts to make an informed decision, rather than to guess at the sellers intent. You know, there are two sides to every story.
Exactly!!! For all we knew this was one of those great e-bay or auction site deals that you read about on this forum. The damage was repaired prior to the sale. The newbie owners had no clue, and then proceeded to sell the rig with no malice.
You could even make a case that the buyer (maybe they did) should have pulled a Carfax on the rig to get a better idea of the history. Maybe it was down south in a flood, bought for salvage, sold at an auction, then sold to these people who didn't have an evil bone in their body.
