Thank you for your input. The replies have been interesting, but the plot has thickened. It turns out that it had a salvaged title and he wasn't even the owner. He told us all about his travels in "his motorhome" and how it didn't work out. Honestly, I don't know what was going on at this point. I thought it was odd that he had it parked less than a foot from his house but now I realize he had the bad side hidden. I still like to keep my word, but I sure am sleeping better.
