Well, this has been an interesting thread. We have bought and traded a lot of vehicles in our day, but we never came this close to a bad deal. We did ask every question you can imagine, and we outright ask about anything that may not be obvious. I discovered this repair because the sofabed would not open and I thought the newer strip of wood was to keep the sofa from bumping the wall. This was in no way anything that could have been considered a typical repair. Thanks for all of your input!
