Agreed. But that was found out after the fact of the OP's refusal to purchase. OP came out ahead on this one. It really sounds like one sucker suckered the other.
It does not matter WHEN he found out or what agreement was reached BEFORE he found out. From the Arizona DMV in their own words:
Arizona law requires that any person who sells a vehicle for which a salvage title has been issued, must disclose to the buyer, before the completion of the sale, that it is a salvage vehicle.
Note that it says BEFORE the completion of the sale.
