I've never used one but I've heard of a device called Wilson Cradle that does just what your talking about. Look on ebay or amazon.
Wilson cradle is for cell phones, not Wi-Fi.
There are many ways to improve Wi-Fi range. Several companies make Wi-Fi repeaters,,, you put one of these somewhere between you and the park's router and they "Extend" the range of the park's system.
Many companies make "Enhanced" wi-fi adapters, these may have high gain antennas, or other improvements that give them greater range.. One thing is getting them AWAY from the CPU in the compter.
I use a Wi-Fi "Modem" (Actually a Wireless Game Adapter) this is a Wi-Fi adapter with a LAN type (RJ-11) port, it feeds a router in my motor home, Router thinks it is a cable modem
The WGA is mounted atop a 25' Flagpole. So it can see "Over" other RV's in the park, it also has been modified, partially, in line with the way George modified his in episode #3 of Amateurlogic.tv (That is the URL) I made NO changes to the WGA, Did not re-cut the antenna, Just put the director over it.. Worked too.
As you can tell from the fact you are reading this.
