Weekend at Kohler-Andrae State Park, WI

What a new experience. We couldn't find our campsite until we realized it was at the side of the park road with a walk-up picnic area. This park has tons to do, from a fishing pond to miles and miles of beach and trails. The boardwalk into the marsh is educational and fun. One thing that was disturbing was the site we had people kept cutting through right into our camping site. The best part was that leveling the motorhome was easy as we were on a paved roadside. If ever in the area, stop over at KA and enjoy for a day or two.

  • We've been there, but its like anywhere else when it comes to a site. Many are good, and a few a bad. Those roadside sites are kind of funky. Its like camping on the highway, not very private feeling. We don't like them. They remind me of the beach camping along the road in California. If you can get more inside the park there are some really beautiful sites that are huge.
