WELL DARN

Well Darn, have to wrap it up tomorrow and head back home. It will 10 days tomorrow we have been here at the Osage Beach Rv Park, Lake of the Ozarks, MO. We would not have to back home if the driver, my sister dindn't have to go to work Tuesday. But this time next year, that won't be an issue. She will be retired.yyyyiiiiippppppeeeee. What a great time we have had. A lot of sightseeing around the region. Met up with a few of our family embers here.
Yesterday we went to Jefferson City to tour THE BIG HOUSE, the former.. state prison. Closed, plus you have to make reservations. We headed over to the state capital. WOW, what a building. 500.000 sq. fr. We took the guided tour, which I recommend. But the whole building is open to the public. The complex is a state park, for the citizens of the state. Just wander around and look at all the history, its everywhere.
We will return to view more of it.
Life is a trip, ENJOY the ride.
Safe Travels.
  • That is what I like about camping, learning about the area you are in and the history. Remember the end of one camping session brings about the beginning of another.

This is So true, I am so sad every time I have to head home, no matter how long we've been out,:( but as soon as we get home, I'm thinking of & planning the next one. :B
