I would definitely get a second opinion. This type of issues isn't isolated to RV's. Same happened with our car, out of alignment, bad tire wear (although that may not be your case) as a result of being out of alignment. Find out shocks, struts, and other replacements were the case of the out of alignment. Replaced all and now our car is fine. You need to be able to trust the mechanic.
