We had the same issues with our AC also. I also checked the drain and it was working, just not enough. I inserted a plastic tube inside the drain to check flow and sure enough no more wet spots at the passenger feet. So when we got home I put in a new drain hose. Have not had the issue since. It did have a build of junk.
