WH brake recall

Yes that is why I was confused. In reading the second recall it states that "certain" W20,W21,W22,W22D from 2000 to 2010 may be involved with the recall. I guess the key word is certain. I previously thought all the chassis's except the W24 were made with the Bosch brakes and had to be fixed. I guess the only way to tell for certain is by the vin which as I said in the OP I don't have yet but according to the owner he had Damon run the Vin and it was not affected and it is a W22 chassis.
