2008 Jk, my daily driver, perfect.....

2006 corolla or 2009 frontier, both 4cyl 5speed. Roadmaster baseplates and Falcon towbar, Brake Buddy Vantage Select, which offers proportional braking. Long story how I got from basic BB Classic to Select but having both showed me proportional is much nicer.
If you drive Ford Explorer/Ranger with 4.0 V6 SOHC "Cologne Engine" give it the best lubrication and often. If you alreadr know, great! If you want to know how I know and why, welcome to PM or reply.

04 CR-V Invisibrake, easy set up and tow, AWD does great on the beach and some off road driving. Not the greatest for distance driving.

14 Grand Cherokee Overland AF1 brake, easy set up and tow, 4WD auto, sand, rocks, sport, etc. Limited tow miles to date.

An Exploder really. I bet you get a bang out of it.

Behind the little classic c......sometimes it’s a utility trailer with our Polaris Ranger, sometimes it’s a 21 ft. Bayliner Trophy Hardtop. It depends upon the destination....hunting or fishing!

We used to tow a 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder with no tow brake.




But it didn't do very well off-roading so after a few years we switched to a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with a Unified tow brake.




The only issue towing the Liberty is the excessive front tire wear on the edges from making sharp turns while towing it. So I have two sets of tires and wheels. One set for around town, the other set for trips with the motor home.

The Jeep requires an off-set hitch extender which amplifies the condition that causes excessive front tire wear.
