After searching online a bit, I'm willing to go to around 10 years old to get a higher end coach (very unscientific) But heres another newbie question. What is considered high miles? I saw a beautiful 2000 Prevost in my price range but it had 145k miles. If I use an average of 40 MPH over the life of it, then it's about 3625 hours on the motor and drivetrain. In boating terms thats average for a 13 year old, and I prefer something thats been used rather than something that just sat and rotted for 5 years.

145K miles on the Prevost means that the engine and transmission are broken in.
The engines and drive trains will outlast all of us if properly serviced.
Marine engines work very hard, Motorhomes if properly powered are not pushed very hard at all. My Cummins just kind of lopes down the road at highway speed.
