I am late to the party, as usual, and you've had good advice so far so I will add just a couple of simple things.
IMHO. If you look for a tag axle, Aqua-Hot and Air leveling you will also find the other quality things you are looking for. I am also partial to the Roadmaster Chassis and the Dyno Max chassis. Put those together with the floor plan you like and enjoy. The house items are similar across the manufactures and the drive train, if maintained, will run nearly forever. As you mention, used is much better than not used.
I think the 2004-6 Dynasty's are a sweet spot for value, of course it is all very personal choice.
Best Wishes!
Agree. I have an 05 dynasty and it is a great combination of fit, finish, ride and reliability. The big change from 04 to 05 was the increased headroom in the 05. I have had mine for sale and had quite a few inquiries but my price is a little high due to some factory options (res.refrig, stacked washer/dryer, king bed) that have turned out to be good things to have but expensive. We like the floor plan because you can get to everything without opening any of the slides. This makes it nice for short stops at rest areas for a few hours. The cummins ISL 400 and roadmaster chassis are an excellent combination for a great ride with little or no effort to control steering in the wind or when the semi's pass you. Tag axle also gives you the extra carrying capacity and allows for those tight spot turns in a campground. All in all our coach has been a great coach for the money.
