I am late to the party, as usual, and you've had good advice so far so I will add just a couple of simple things.
IMHO. If you look for a tag axle, Aqua-Hot and Air leveling you will also find the other quality things you are looking for. I am also partial to the Roadmaster Chassis and the Dyno Max chassis. Put those together with the floor plan you like and enjoy. The house items are similar across the manufactures and the drive train, if maintained, will run nearly forever. As you mention, used is much better than not used.
I think the 2004-6 Dynasty's are a sweet spot for value, of course it is all very personal choice.
Best Wishes!
While I do agree with you that the Dynasty is a beautiful coach. In 2004 we were touring on the east coast and we stopped to rest at an RV park in Unadilla, Georgia and my neighbor parked next to me had this brand new Dynasty coach. We got to be good buddies and while I was admiring his coach he told me that he had some major problems with his fiber glass side walls and went out to point out to me hair line fractures all over it. He claimed that the side walls were defective and he was taking the coach to have the fiberglass replaced. He also claimed that the fiberglass was manufactured by DuPont.
I was just thinking when I read your post if Monaco had made a major recall on all those coaches that had defective side walls.
