If you have 120 VAC where you store it, AND, you properly program your inverter/charger, you can leave it on 24/7/365. Programming instructions are in your inverter/charger owners manual and include setting:
Battery technology (wet cell, AGM or gel)
Battery bank size (in amp-hrs)
Temperature unless you have the optional temperature probe
On some coaches the inverter/charger charges only the house bank, on others, both banks. If yours does not charge the chassis battery, and you have a smart battery tender, you can use it to keep the chassis battery charged.
If both batteries are charged as above, no need to disconnect them.
