I have had pumps cutoff at $100 and refuse the second swipe for my fillup with my Pen Fed Platinum. To expedite I use my second card AARP Rewards Visa via Chase. It covers fuel and restaurants at 3% each and 1% everywhere else. My Pen Fed Platinum Visa gives 5 points on fuel and 3 points on groceries. 5 points equals 4.25% and 3 points equals 2.55% and 1 point equals .85% with Pen Fed. Picky I know but points should always be a dead giveaway on Rewards.
