What C's have 25' widebody plans like this?

I really would love to buy the '96 240WB Coachmen Catalina I just found for sale BUT have to sell my present tt first (disabling pain for me and dementia for DH makes hitching a huge project)..so,figuring it will be gone (my usual:) luck!)I would like to know what other manu's make that floorplan. It looks to be about perfect for us..it actually measures 25'.And I need the WideBody model as we will use the dinette for a bed for DH leaving it up all the time while camping. When I actually get to buy one,it would be easier for me to have more than one manu to search thru. Thanks! Janalee

  • We have a Coachmen Leprechaun from late 90's--- the 'wide body' is 8'6 wide instead of 8'. I have seen other brands that had the wider coaches. We are very happy with the Coachmen and very impressed with the storage-- alot more than others we looked at.
If this coach is that great of a deal ---- triple check for leaks (in cab-over and around windows)-- maybe your bank/CU can help w/ a bridge loan until you are able t sell the TT?
  • Just me in it..DH on dinette bed..yes,I know it's hard to make the bed,but most of them are anyway!I will just sleep on top and curl up in a comforter!Lol!That is,if the stars all align right and I sell my Sunline tt and that mh is still for sale. I still don't see any other manufacturers with that floorplan of the Catalina 240wb.
  • Still kind of a corner bed, but the bed goes lengthwise along the back wall instead against the side wall. If its just you, then ok, but would be a pain in the but for whoever sleeps against the wall getting in and out. Making the bed would be a pain also. Bad enough in walk around rv's with the nightstands....
  • Sorry..I should have described it. This model has a bed across the rear wall w wardrobe at the right rear corner (drivers side being right side),shower on right, toilet and sink on left of hall, fridge and dinette on right, kitchen on left..swivel chair behind passenger (usual place!) This is not the usual corner bed since it extends "sideways" giving me better access. And pricewise,it seems I have to stay in the 1990's.

Very hard to find a true "C" (kind with a full cabover) that is NOT widebody.
  • Don't know what the floor plan is, but that exterior looks much like out '03 24V Itasca.
