- Rich_PanganibanExplorerI'll start...
...technically I don't own a Class A (we own a 32' Jayco Greyhawk Class C on a Kodiak Chassis), but I did help my folks wash their Winnebago Vectra today. They are in town visiting the grandkids and have been fulltimers for the past six years. - garry1pExplorerChecking tires, oil, water and loading up frig for a 7 day trip to Gulf Shores, AL
- John339ExplorerYesterday I repaired the drive shaft parking brake by replacing the brake shoes.
Then removed the wheels, 19.5" needing 450 lbs of torque, and made sure the disk brakes had plenty of pad left. They do.
Today will be greasing and lubing the chassis.
Tomorrow is removing the house batteries and adding water if needed. Distilled of course. Then vacuuming, cleaning and finally washing using a product that waxes at the same time. 303 Protectant on the tires and Windex on the windows and we will be ready for the next trip.
There is always something but it is still fun and a good hobby for an old timer. - BadeyeExplorerLoaded scooters getting ready for a trip later this month.
Badeye - sailor_louExplorerLast weekend I removed the batteries and slide out tray and this evening's job will be to coat the tray with the POR-15. Hopefully, I'll be able to reinstall it this weekend. Between the house, vehicles, Moho and happy hours, there is always something to do.
Lou - The_TexanExplorerReplaced the Water Heater burner tube that was rusted, from draining and cleaning the tank every year.
- billyboyExploreryesterday- made and added upper and lower metal supports for the fridge hinges, after reading about others having the hinge break and dumping stuff out on the floor. years ago we had a coachman and the fridge came open because of their lousy latch ( dometic)and it made a mess, don't want that again.
- emerytsExplorerI just looked at it because it is perfect the way it is. It is parked at my summer spot and it is happy to be there!
- Cloud_DancerExplorer IINothing,.....it's parked in Sparks Circle, near Toledo Town LA. I suppose I could call and find out if it's still there.
- HTALLENExplorerAfter 3 years of wanting to replace my carpet......it is finally being done. The main salon being done in oak engineered hardwood, the rest a high quality commercial carpet... it wasn't cheap, but I really like my unit....if I bought a newer one what I'd pay in sales tax here in Calif (9.75%) would pay for my carpet 3 times over. How is that for rationalizing ?
