Today the coach is plugged in to charge the batteries so our upcoming subzero weather won't freeze them solid. We don't keep the rig plugged in fulltime because it causes a buzz when we try to listen to our local AM radio station in the house. The electrician said there is very little you can do about that...the battery charger just sends that bugger out there and all we can do is unplugg the coach. So that's how we deal with that.
Our coach is winterized for the season. We've also emptied nearly all the contents in prep work for some redo work and reload for short term travel only not full time living. Sometime in early 2011 we'll clean 'er up and think about a short trip before summer gardening season starts.
We've had an extremely mild and dry winter here with all the storms hitting all around us. But, our turn is coming. As we speak a big storm is lurking to our west. This time we could get what we've missed all season so far. So, it will be a while before we "do" anything to our motorhome! We're going to sit back, let the geothermal run, cuddle up to the woodburning cookstove and enjoy winter.
