I learned I didn't have an electrical problem today! Yes, RVing is new to me so this will probably give you all a good laugh. While preparing to depart from our last trip I remember fumbling with my hands to push the switch to retract the awning. Fumbling? Because at first it didn't retract then, thankfully, trying it again the awning retracted. Driving home I notice my Jensen radio and camera system were not operating. This is a new RV so I mentally added this to a couple of other items for the dealer to check. Last week when getting ready to return home from having a front-end alignment I turned on the generator to run the house AC (the dealer tech told me to use the generator regularlyto keep it "healthy"). Low and behold, the jensen system and cameras are working again. But once I turned the generator off they turned off. Last night it suddenly came to mind, I wonder if I turned the battery disconnect switch off when fumbling to retract the awning. This morning I drove to the storage area and sure enough the switch was off. Turned it on and everything worked like it should. I love the flexibility, but it can get confusing working with shore power (50, 30, 15 amp), generator power, house batteries, vehicle power, vehicle battery...
