MIL died last week,so that changed several plans, but hope to head out for a couple of days after Thanksgiving,so that I can use my Wa state parks old guy winter pass somemore. $0 a nite for no h/u and $6 a nite for h/us at a cost of $50. Paid for itself the first trip out.
Going up now to run the slides out, check the furnace, check the battery water levels, etc and look at a window that I don't think they sealed after pulling it last spring when the roof leak was repaired by replacing the roof and the drivers wall replaced.
Had a problem with water coming in the entrance door from the roof and it ruined the inside steps. It was running down from the roof, into the gutter and overflowing down onto the entrance awning and running in the door. I replaced all the door seals, pulled the door handle and resealed it,cleaned out all the drain holes at the bottom of the door and that only helped a little,so I cut a section out of the gutter behind the door and closed off part of the gutter right over the door and that did cut down a bit. I then put one of those gutter extensions on the end of the gutter over the door and then when the MH is parked,I stick one end of an old CPAP hose over the extension as a gutter downspout and, guess what,no more door leaks.
