Yesterday.
Drove into RV park where last year grass was a little soft for our DP and left fairly deep ruts.
This year looked a lot firmer, drove on slowly , front wheels hardly made a dent continued on, three or so vehicle lengths in left front began to sink and rear duals sank in up to the hub! :S
Tried to lift the rear wheels with the jacks, a block rolled and knocked the base plate off one of the springs! :E
Jack almost fully extended is now buried in the sod, and no springs to retract it! After much digging ( by a couple of lads from the motel after their shift) we managed to get a 3X3 8' lever under the jack and pushed it up. After releasing the valve of course!
Then much more digging and use of scraps of plywood from the motel's scrap heap we reversed out. (Not the first try, not the second, but after a lot more digging around all four wheels.)
About three or four hours!
Now I need to post in the Class A forum about the jacks, and also the suspension, which is much lower on the left rear(the deepest stuck)
Also something weird with the PowerLine ems in Tech issues I guess. :h
Oh, we are in Mexico, and RV techs are non existent!
