Almost finished installing the new air ride ride height valve. As the rig sets now with the air bags deflated, the rear end is about 2 inches above the driveway. Its funny haw many times I've had to read and re read the instructions that came with the valve. All I need to do now is air up the system and verify that the valve fills and dumps the bags and then adjust the ride height.
Such as small job, but it has taken about 4 months and almost $800 to get to this point. When the original valve failed my local RV shop installed a new one. That valve failed (or was improperly installed) just beyond the warranty period. Of course there was the fee for the mobile mechanic who came to service that valve. I finally became frustrated trying to deal with the shop and the valve manufacturer and ordered a new valve from a different vendor, and am installing it myself.
I am now an expert at one more arcane issue that has no other application under the sun!
