Got a few things done. Had the alternator rebuilt for $94, not bad, and re-installed, the bearings where worn and one wire just unhook from rust when I touched it.
Then, I install a new AC belt and a new fan belt. Wow, I am happy the rad was out for a rebuilt. Access to the adjuster bolts is very hard and the nuts where quite hard to undo. To get the fan belt back on, I had to unscrew the alternator to give me a tad more looseness, could not figure to refit it without the alternator loose, looks like there is not enough slack with the tensionner. Re-installed everything with lots of antisize.
I also did some rust removing from under, painted it before is gets worst. Tomorow, I will re-install the heavy duty rebuilt radiator, the rebuilt intercooler, $3000 dollars for both, the trany cooler, refill with antifreeze and change the trany oil with Fleerite synth. 295 Alison spec. and filter.
