I installed a new backup camera and monitor on my 1988 Prevost. We have been without a camera for more years than I can remember. Just learned to live without it rather than pay the $1000+ to replace it.
I found about a company called rvcams.com and for less than $600 I now have a full color day/night/audio camera setup in my coach. If you are interested I am starting a thread about what I did separately. It's all good and their support was almost as good as the support I used to provide to my customers! 5 stars!
