Our Xantrex Prosine 2.0 did that about 2 weeks ago. Woke up to the sound of crackling and the smell of burnt circuit board. :E Pulled the shore power cord and went back to bed.
Making do with a Canadian Tire automotive charger when the solar won't quite do. In Weed Ca tonight, overcast and a few snow flurries. Temperature 1C (34F) so will be needing the furnace. Batteries fully charged after the days drive but there will be no solar tomorrow, or likely the next day or two.
