- BigRabbitManExplorerToday I made the templates for my coach to get windshield covers made by Sunguard. They have an FMCA special at the moment so saved some money.
Two weeks ago I went to Ignacio, CO and helped a friend up grade my radiator and fan. I can now go up 6% grades at 60mph and the temp gauge doesn’t move. I like it. - scrubjaysnestExplorerInstalled packrat light system for the up coming trip to AZ.
- TrackrigExplorer IIWent up on top to tighten the radio antenna and lubricate the batwing TV antenna. Since I had the silicone spray out, I also lubed the dump valve handles the levelers.
Bill - bobpieExplorerPurchased and installed 4 new 6 volt golf cart batteries to replace my 7 year old batteries, also removed the charging solenoid and replaced it with the Silver contact solenoid, hopefully it will last more than 4 years this time.

OH, Used my new improvement for the first time.. Radio remote for the main slide so when I left I brought it in half way from the control panel.. then walked past the stuff that cloggs the isle when it's full in and finished with the key fob. At Gordon's I put it out a couple feet with the fob, put the food in the fridge and brought it in from the driver's seat with the fob.. Worked great
The remote is from All Electronics dot com. it is a 4 channel device.. I used two of 'em. one for in one for out. - jspringatorExplorerEternabond to seal the holes. Prep with Laquer Thinner The awning is probably toast, but that can wait. The screws may have been tweaked so they may leak, so dont wait too long. Those new electric awnings are nice.
- daddExplorerJust today kissed a tree limb with the center of the awning and the edge of the roof.....kinked the awning slightly and put 3 dime size holes in the edge of the roof along with a 6" dent .... raining currently at this campground so cannot assess damages repair until tomorrow ..... any experienced recommendations ????
- TrackrigExplorer III installed four fans on top of my Norcold 1200. These are are almost 1/2 amp ball bearing fans with each rated at 100 cfm. They certainly move a lot of air up through the back of the 1200. They've improved my refer temps, but I'll continue to work on it.
Thanks to Executive for finding them for me.
