I would love to have that on my generator but it don't support it so much for that?
I installed an Onan EC-30W, wireless automatic gen start....so far I'm loving it & it will give us peace of mind when we have to leave the dog at camp (since it will automatically start the gen if shore power is lost, the batteries get low, or there is a requirement for ac or heat).
it will also mean less generator run time when dry camping (at the track or tail gating) - since it monitors the batteries & starts/charges the batteries before they get "too" low.
AND the added bonus of now being able to start & stop our gen from the drivers seat (or anywhere else).
is that a question ?
what model generator do you have ? the EC-30W supports many Onan gen-sets (propane/gasoline & diesel)...there is also a WIRED version (EC-20 & EC-30).
Both the WALL MOUNTED (Wired) EC- 20 and 30 models will automatically monitor batteries and RV generators; however, the 30 model also includes automatic generator starting functions and special safety features.
a list of compatible onan generators is listed in appendix B (page B-1) of the Owners Manual at this link - EC-30W Owners Manual (pdf)
I also looked at other similar devices that would support non-Onan's that I'm happy to share that information. - Scott___JillExplorer

we bought at Camping World. Brush it on, and wipe it dry. Took most of the
day, but it looks great now, until the next rain storm! - bshpilotExplorerI installed an Onan EC-30W, wireless automatic gen start....so far I'm loving it & it will give us peace of mind when we have to leave the dog at camp (since it will automatically start the gen if shore power is lost, the batteries get low, or there is a requirement for ac or heat).

Since the coach is new to me, there were several things that needed doing over the past couple of weekends:
Washed the exterior
Thoroughly cleaned interior
Replaced house battery
Replaced sheared bolt in slide rod
Repaired in-dash radio
Repaired florescent overhead fixtures
Installed XM-Roady for satellite radio
Changed engine oil/filter
Flushed/sanitized fresh water tank
Flushed black and grey water tanks
Worked on generator
Verified tire pressures
Filled with fresh gasoline and SeaFoam motor treatment
Drove it 30 miles or so to get the flat spots out of the tires ;-)
Made reservations at a campground at the local lake for our first outing
Made reservations in Myrtle Beach for our second outing
Sat in it in my driveway...completely exhausted...and consumed adult beverages... still not believing that it's mine! :-)
Another welcome to the forum and to the RVing lifestyle!
Now that you have been all over most of your coach you at least know where to look when things aren't right and you have the knowledge you can deal with the usual "stuff", as you go. Makes for an easy mind on the road. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIInstalled a SeeLevel II external tank monitor system, including updating the LP tank to add a level sending unit, replaced two OEM Duo-Therm analog thermostats with Honeywell automatic set back digital thermostats, installed an additional bathroom cabinet in place of a wall mirror for added storage, and replaced the bathroom sink and shower/tub faucets with smoother working and better looking models.
- StavieExplorerSince I just bought it last Friday and I'm pretty happy with it I've been busy.
Top to bottom wash and hand wax (took 2 days) plus full interior detailing, new front tires, learned how all the systems work and got everything working. Fuel and LP tanks full, water tank full and TV upgraded to flat screen.
Next week satellite system and get the tow system set up to tow my Jeep.
Then we hit the open road for a few weeks, or months, we'll see how it goes. - Jim_NormanExplorerI finally got around to installing the Helwig links on the front swaybar on our rig. Made quite a difference.
