pauperspride.blogspot.com - slemnahExplorerMy motorhome has the crazing in the dark colors from the fiberglass gassing. I applied some black wax (meant for black cars) over the worst of it. Doesn't stop the crazing but is sure looks better.
- xctravelerExplorerFinished getting the new to us Jeep ready to tow. took it out for a test run and while we were out in the countryside our lawyer called to say that the contract to sell our townhouse had come back to life. :) :) :). Hope they can get the close before we leave on Sunday (11/18).
- Canadian_RainbiExplorer(yesterday) reassembled and re fastened the drawer under the dinette seat--it came out in three pieces! Now 8 angle brackets through bolted hold the sides together with a bead of silicone in and under the bottom slots. Hopefully it will hold together until I can build new drawers when we get home in the spring.
- SnomasExplorerDecided to replace the driver side headlight and took out the old one today and ordered a new one. Should have it later this week to install. Hope it fits OK. We will be leaving for Houston in December for the winter. Usually go to San Diego but have a Granddaughter wedding in Dallas in March so it's Texas for this winter!!
- vscogginExplorerHey-Charles from Ohio--what about the mineral oil--Ive never heard about it(well not for that use) --Ive already winterized--is it something I need to do anyway?--Vince
- charlesExplorerToday was a beautiful day here, I got up early got it out of my building, drove over to the gas station and filled up, came back and dumped, put mineral oil in the tanks to lube the valves. Getting ready for our winter trip south, lots more to do.
Nick - big_boulderExplorerI've been removing the chalk and rubbercoating the roof. Always a blast- not. I feel it is the chore I dislike the most maintaining the rv. I keep finding improper fixes from the previous owner. Nothing surprizes me anymore. While I was doing the rubberizing chore I removed all the fan covers and ac caps and cleaned them up too. I don't think the fan covers had ever been cleaned. Little at a time, trying to do it right.
- DannyLeiningerExplorerWell, not Priceless....$1200 for the Samsung, maybe $200 in supplies from HD.
