What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Changed the oil and filter in the genset. Changed the oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, installed 180 degree thermostat, flushed cooling system and put in new dexcool and new sparkplugs. Just replaced new coach batteries last week. Getting ready for a trip to South Dakota in 2 weeks. Still have to sanitize fresh water system. Looking forward to our 4000 mile trip!

bought some flame retardant spray for the cushion covers LOML is making and sandblasted/primed/painted about half of the shower surround.

Bought new house batteries.

Washed it after a drive thru very dirty rain soaked roads over the weekend. Then started the Zep Finish Wax job that I have contemplated for a couple of years. So far I am VERY impressed with results.

Got a phone call from the shop today to come and have a look at the bathroom floor before they carry on. The floor is OK! The base of the wall behind the shower is another story. Some rot along the plate and a short distance up the wall. The owner, Bob (whom I have known for decades) pointed out: "Why would they put a union behind the shower?"

From the floor, the plastic pipes for hot and cold go up for about three feet where each one had a union, go up another three feet to an elbow connection!!??? Just asking for a leak. He'll replace them with single piece lines. Bob has been building and rebuilding custom campers for 30 years or more. I trust his workmanship. Be nice to have it all done right.

Bled the brakes. Used one quart of brake fluid. Put insulation in the dog house f53.

Our vinyl flooring has had some major damage from the severe cold here and split in 4 places. ripped it out when we got home from camping last Sunday. Just finished installing new cushioned vinyl last night. it looks and feels great. I will get a pic tonight.

I bought a new/used toad for my MH.

I found a 2010 Saturn VUE with 10K miles in Florida about 3,500 miles from our home, but by the time I checked, it was sold.

Then I found a 2009 Saturn VUE about 15 miles from our house with 25K miles. Both had been used as toads but the one I bought only has the tail light wiring remaining on the vehicle. I will need to replace the base plate.
