- Canadian_RainbiExplorerCleaned a big lump of fluffy soft soot off the gas burner head in the fridge. It works on propane again!
- RayChezExplorerToday we started loading our coach for our Christmas and New Years annual trip. Las Vegas for Christmas and New Years celebration, then FMCA rally, and then caravan to Quartzite for seven days with friends.
It is around 70 degrees here in Southern California now, so it should be nice for traveling.
Heard on the news Florida had 32 degrees last night. WOW! Florida. - TechWriterExplorerReplaced my 12-year-old SHURflo Classic (2088-422) with a SHURflo Revolution (4008-101) which is much, much quieter and a bit more powerful than the Classic.
- BigRabbitManExplorerContined my drivetrain replacement project. Here is a link to my most recent activities.
If you want to see the whole project, go to the first page of the photo album and follow it from the start to where I am at this point. Having completed my move from CA to OR I am now dividing my time between being in OR and working on my coach in Gilroy, CA. - BigRabbitManExplorerHad both halves of the windshield replaced. The passenger one was cracked so the insurance covered most of that one. It didn't bother me, but the Bride had an issue with it! Since the I felt that the original driver side one would look different, I paid to have that one replaced as well. Glass $395 and installation $225.
We have maintained balance! - dmcgiffinExplorerFound a storage facility a few weeks ago in Fort Mohave to leave MH as we travel back to Idaho Falls for the holidays with grandkids and their parents. Temperature in the minus numbers and snow on the ground, but being our first year in retirement I can smile knowing we are heading south in January. Found a great RV park in Laughlin KOA/AVI with golf course connected. Love this retirement...if I had known it would have been this fun I would have skipped working and just retired :)

Installed a mount for a flat screen TV. Old tube TV went to the Salvation Army on the weekend.
Curious Hank… was your TV built in the front cabinets ?
If so do you have any photos of your remodel ?
I have been debating but unsure how it will look..
Thanks
TV was mounted in cabinet in center above dash/doghouse, up at the ceiling. That was too high for comfortable viewing, you were always looking up. I wanted a mount that would come down not just side to side. Found one on Amazon but when I went back to order it was no longer available. I keep kicking myself over that. So I used a wall mount fastened to the bottom of the cabinet, turned 90* so it will come down instead of side to side. I can swivel the TV 90* lift it up and push it back into the cabinet for travel.
I don't have picture but can take one of the mount later today. TV is not attached right now, it's in the house. Think you'll get the idea though when you see the mount and how it's installed.
Guess I'll have to figure out how to post an image, haven't done that on this forum before.
First pic is mount dropped down so TV is at a better viewing level.
Second pic is how mount is installed in cabinet.
The TV will swing up and sit flat against front of cabinet. In order for the mount to hold the TV there the tension on the arms has to be really tightened up since mount is designed for side to side movement not up and down. With the tension that high you really have to pull on the TV to move it, I didn't like that idea. So I decided I would just swivel TV 90* and swing it back into the cabinet to get it out of the way or for travel. I may look at adding a strap or something to mounting plate to hold TV up when traveling or maybe I won't. - toomoxyExplorer

Thanks - mustang652ExplorerPicked up the unit from the shop this morning. In conjunction with having extender valves installed on the inside duels, had a warranty repair on leaking feed lines to the toilets and a program adjustment to the LCI levelers. Drained the water tank and lines as it's supposed to freeze tonight.
