What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Technically yesterday but....:
Installed a flat screen TV
loaded the fridge for vacation on Friday
Installed a paper towel holder
Stocked the cabinets
Put the GPS on the dash
Got the hot water working
Got the oven working
slept in it
watched RV on the new TV
Installed an Xbox 360
Hung a toothbrush holder on the wall
Put things in the basement storage
Hung a coat/dog leash/ key holder hook by the door

Took the no fuss flush apart, it hasn't worked since we bought the rig, sure enough it was very messy and plugged up which leads me to believe the P.O. didn't flush after dumping the tanks. That WILL not happen while I have it.

Added a sht mtl heat shield to protect the start batteries from the exhaust. I was told it was not a good design to have them that close.

Cleaned out a few bays, and cleaned up some wiring.

Repaired the leads on driver side stereo speaker.


I have about 10 more things to get done to finish off my list

Installed a Marantz 1403 AV receiver.

Replaced the florescent bulbs in my bathroom 12" Thinlite fixture with 6 LED strips for more light and way less energy consumption!

I purchased the LEDs on Ebay for about $1/strip. Great value!

Cleaned the Charge Air Cooler and Radiator. Washed the engine also.

Well actually been over the past week. Wife had a corner cabinet in
bedroom with a sink in it. Was really hard to get around to get in and out of bed. So I took it out as the bathroom is only about 3 feet
from it. Got it out and decided since I had hot and cold water to
install an outdoor sower kit. Got that done took out the pocket door and reinforced the wall to install a new wall mount tv. Finished
that task put in new wall, havn't finished the trim yet but will b4 long.

Next task was to find out why I had know power to my GFCI in bath and
exterior. I installed it upside down the first time. Works now.
Then took out a pull out hamper in bath and built in shelves for
towells instead.

Took today off to have lunch with Daughter and Boyfriend. They told
us she is PG. Oh Well there at least 21 and both work so good luck.

Next is too reseal several windows. Take rear AC unit and Put it
up front and put in a vent in rear.

Would have had this all done awhile ago but here in the Puget sound
it has rained since November.

Got to finish all of this by end of month as we will be leaving to
start going south getting to Q by around 1st of Nov.:B

Would liked to have had all this done

Checked and topped off all fluids. Checked battery connections. Just the start of annual preparations for the upcoming football season.

OK, I didn't do this today, I did it a while back but it might save someone else from the same problem and there is an added benefit.

I added a slide valve on the dump manifold. Why? well seems that the way the valves are laid out, when I pulled out the electric cord it looped up and pulled the Black water valve. Thankfully the cap was on and had a good seal. So after getting back to the starting point by emptying the pipe between the valve and the cap, I added a simple twist on slide valve as a safety. I also added a 45 degree clear section so I can monitor how clean the tank flow really is. Not a biggie, but it could save someone a really messy time.

Now the extra bonus. When dumping the tanks I have a slightly modified routine. Dump the black, close the outer or safety valve and then open the grey, it flushes up into the black tank, as the levels equalize, close the grey tank valve and open the outer valve, repeat the process until the tanks are empty. I was greatly surprised at the amount of additional 'black' I got out doing this.

Really a simple and inexpensive project that made a big difference.

Decided to go over to the storage building and check my batteries, we don't drive it during the summer so it just sits in there plugged into a 110 outlet. Although the batteries are on on disconnect, the chassis battery was good but the coach batteries needed a little. First time I added water since new in October, didn't need much but feel better knowing they're good.
