Just when I was about to install new wiper blades I noticed the arms were pretty faded with some light rusting and overall, looked pretty crappy. Also, one of the arm spray nozzles was broken and was just hanging by the rubber hose. I removed both arms, sanded and primed them and will repaint tomorrow. I also ordered two new spray nozzles, which hopefully will be delivered before we head out next Friday.

My squirt hose on my wiper had to be replaced as snapped off.
Now I notice my spray is only hitting the top of the windshield..
is this normal do you know ?? - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIReplaced both coach batteries and the single starting battery. The old coach batteries were Everstart group 24 Marine's, and surprisingly, the starting battery was also an Everstart Marine battery, although a group 27. According to the receipts we found in the coach when we bought it in 2008, the group 24's were purchased in 2003, and the group 27 in 2004, so they all had a pretty good run. I installed a new Everstart MAXX group 27 845 CCA actual starting battery, and replaced the two group 24 coach batteries with Everstart MAXX group 29 Marine batteries. All three batteries were built by Johnson Controls in May. I also replaced the dying OEM battery in our 2002 RAV4 with an Everstart MAXX group 35 battery, and was pleased to see that one was made this month. They don't get much fresher than that!
- ctpresExplorerInstalled second a'cond. Other than "getting it on roof part" really an easy job

If the guests don't like the chairs I just hand them a pair of pliers, a knife, some binder twine or bailing wire and a roll of Duct Tape. :B - country_sunflowExplorerFinished the repair of our lawn chairs for guests, loaded ironed clothes in the mh and DH put some silicon around the kitchen window. - mustang652ExplorerAs "they" say, it rolls down hill, at least we hope so. I got in a replacement hose for one of the sewer hoses that sprang a leek on the last stop of the last trip. This time I am going to try out the Dominator series as they are supposed to be heaver grade and collapse to a much smaller length for storage.

We have all done similar things. Most just won't admit it.
Couple of points: to really help dry things out run the AC as much as possible. That will pull a lot of humidity from the air.
Most if not all RV fresh water pumps are designed to run dry so you likely didn't damage it. That being said, depending where you RV as spare can be handy.
We use our spare to boost the extremely low (gravity feed)at many Mexican campgrounds. We fitted it with hose connections and power it from a 12V connection at the trailer socket at the back. A 2 foot hose to the tap and a longer one to the tank fill allows us to fill in 10 or 15 minutes rather than 2 or three hours!
We too travel with a couple of dogs. Good luck at the dog shows.
LOL thanks for the suggestion.....
Actually based on what you are saying I will hook up my "dehumidifier" ... shoot good thinking thanks !
I did read on the surflow web page they can run dry too... thanks... fingers crossed...
I'm really hoping someone else new will save themselves some grief by learning from all
my mistakes ;)
The one show I'm attending I was never brave enough to bring my RV as it has to turn into a drive with a narrow road and gate... finally decided to give it a try last weekend and I MADE IT !! I was so happy... by inches... but I made it... Otherwise I would be posting photos of
the new mirrors and bumpers I bought and installed...LOL LOL
huge learning curve for sure. - mmiilleExplorerchanged oil, filter. fuel filters, air dryer element, pressure relief valve, caulked slides, dumped oil on myself. had a great time! Still trying to figure out why one rear air bag doesn't fill up, and bedroom slide is acting up when I open and close it.
