What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Removed every last decal in prep for new ones. What a chore!

My husband checked it over thoroughly and washed it yesterday, so this afternoon I did the inside spring cleaning.

It's ready to roll for our upcoming trip. :B

Changed all my belts and radiator hoses. What a PITA.

Bought it a new shower head! Still in the mail, but at least it's one the way. It's one of those Oxgenitics heads. Supposed to give a better spray in low flow situations. I also bought the wand holder. I have never replaced an RV shower head, so it should be interesting. It will be a few days before I can get to the rig to install it. I saw several people that swear by them.

Yesterday: Finally parked it in our stick house driveway after our 5 1/2 month winter escape to Mexico. Cool/ cold and rain all the way from LA north so we were well acclimatized by the time we got here!. Although surprised this morning when we woke to clear and sunny skies! Likely not for long though.

Now to prepare it for our trip south in the fall!

In the process of replacing the water valve on the commode. Fun times.....LOL

I have been modifying and improving(?) my 1991 Aero Cruiser for almost 3 years now. My current list has 44 items. Most minor, a couple of major ones.

2 more complex projects in the works for this season; a solar thermal hot water system flat mounted to a section of roof and a changing 2 of the 4 drawers under the bed into a small cabinet.

Recently, I did a complete suspension rebuild. Really made a huge difference in ride height and handling. I would wager some of the changes/mods/upgrades could be used on other chassis just as easily.

Finally got the rig back from the shop where it was because of trouble with the levelling jacks. $1980.00 later we are infomed that the selenoids and the control board where burned out because of leaving the board activated after bypassing one selenoid. One where in the HWH manual does it say this. Beware!!

I smiled in relief that dear hubby had 4 Michelin back tires installed this week, now all 6 tires are new and hopefully can rock and roll smoothly and safely. (had blowout on a back tire coming in from trip Sunday night)

Had the DS windshield replaced. It developed a crack from top to bottom right in front of the driver. The guys State Farm sent were professional and competent (and I'm not easy to please). The shaded area is much darker than the older one on the passenger side. The glass guys told me that they fade over time, and the broken one was no-telling how old.
