Your Mercedes Benz warranty and maintenance manuals should tell you what you need to do at the 10,000 mile service intervals. They have them online for 2010 and newer at this Mercedes Benz Sprinter Owner's Manuals. They've been pretty consistent over the years so much of it would apply to older Sprinters as to what to expect.
