Hosed out the kitty carpet. "Outside the box' should remain an unfamliar term for him.
On other topics we hired Master-Carpenter Larmer to rebuild the cabover. I have no idea if the title actually exists, but he's really good. Slow but good. This is a $5k job done for way less.
I was thinking about it back in April. I'm good in aluminum and fiberglas but carpenty isn't my strong suit, not by a long shot. I could've made it structurally sound but we would've been down by the nose a thousand pounds and that's not cool. If this turns our ok I'll post Larmer's name and phone number.
In any event, we gotta do something. She's not leaking any more but the 22 years of dry rot have to be dealt with.
