I have been less than happy with the couch in our 2000 Jamboree 23B. When you set down you just went to the bottom. So pulled it out and removed the bottom springs (cross springs). There were 9 of them.. It now has 18 heavier springs.. Is much firmer and nicer for setting and sleeping..
However a project I did a short while ago was to pull the front wheels and clean and grease the front brake steel parts.. They were dragging a bit so it was time.. We had a rattle in the right front (passenger side). There was no question it was in the wheel area. But several trips under it and trying every thing I could think of did not locate it.. When I pulled the brakes apart and took the pads out inside the wheel cyl. cup was the end of a C-clamp.. The one the ball fits in so you can turn it.. Removed it and rattle gone.. If I had not pulled the brake pads to clean and grease the steel parts I would have not found it until I replaced the pads.. They were near new. Who would have ever been looking for that..
