A while back I installed a dark window tint on the over cab bunk area and on the door glass, Then we got some of the insulation used for garage doors (Same stuff the folding windshield covers are made of but in rolls) and my wife sewed velcro in areas I marked. While she was doing that I installed small pieces of velcro around the windows in a number of spots so the window screws ran thru them. We then stuck the insulation over the windows. We have noticed the RV is much cooler with the sun hitting the front part. And it seems to take much less heat to keep it warm.
We use the front area for storage only but were upset several times when we had to park with the afternoon sun hitting the front. The heat was like an oven. Also seemd to be a very cool spot when heating.
