Just added two new coach batteries with 500 amp/hours. The original coach battery location only has room for one regular size battery so the new batteries had to go in the basement area under the bed (Jayco Greyhawk 31FK). Also added a new inverter. The old inverter quit working even though we had never used it. When we turned it on the 110 outlets had no power unless we were plugged in at an RV park. I finally figured out that the inverter, as installed by Jayco, only supplied power to the outlet behind the TV. I guess that was because the Jayco supplied coach battery was one of those RV/Marine dual purpose batteries that are not really good as starting batteries and certainly not very good deep cycle batteries. If you plug in every night and don't need them then they are pretty good.
In addition I installed a charge controller and will SOON add the solar panels. Hello more boondocking.
