It did knock down the DC voltage from the battery/converter from 14.1 to 13.6..typically there's 14.1 if it's running full bore. Looks it run 4.5hrs full bore through the battery just setting.. of course driving and plugged in wouldn't be issue. Save a little on propane although a tank usually last a year the way it is. Careful... You might be searching for a solution for which there is no known problem (the government does this a lot).
Just kidding, frankly I like the idea of the separate double pole switch.
