Hooked the fridge (300w) up the 400/800W inverter to see if it would run. It did run without being overloaded. It did knock down the DC voltage from the battery/converter from 14.1 to 13.6..typically there's 14.1 if it's running full bore. Debating if I want to put a single throw double pole switch and switch it over to the inverter while driving down the road. Looks it run 4.5hrs full bore through the battery just setting.. of course driving and plugged in wouldn't be issue. Save a little on propane although a tank usually last a year the way it is. Less chance of a fire possibly. Decisions decisions..
Careful... You might be searching for a solution for which there is no known problem (the government does this a lot).
Just kidding, frankly I like the idea of the separate double pole switch.
