Fixed a chip in my windshield that I got on my last trip.
I didn't feel like hauling the RV down to Novus and paying the $$$. So I got a do-it-yourself chip repair kit for $10. I'm really pleased with the result which was just as good as Novus. I then fixed 2 chips in my CRV tow vehicle with the same kit.
You might check your insurance policy to see if they cover 100% for chips (my policy does). Usually you can call a mobile repair and they come to you and do the work and bill your insurance company.
If you insist on a replacement of the windshield, they you usually have to pay for the deductible. - KamphikerExplorer1) added a accumulator tank to the water system
2) resealed the front cap & checked all roof seams
3) re-attached the top front of the TV cabinet to the ceiling
by adding aluminum angle support (top inside)
4) put the base plate on the toad and tried out the Blux ox
tow bar & brake buddy. - RVWithTitoExplorerFixed a chip in my windshield that I got on my last trip.

- jrdr653ExplorerActually yesterday but had new E rated tires put on and was told the ride would be a little rougher.......The tires I replaced were dry rotting away and in comparison the new E's vs the old "D's".....The "E's" win hands down...
- Pokey2ExplorerMounted a fire extinguisher! Of course, the unit should have already had one. I had a heck of a time hooking the plastic support strap. Perhaps one more sign of my advancing years ....
- 20anOutExplorerWe put our sensor on the top of the tire closest to the entry door and take it in before we leave. So far we haven't forgotten it but I think I am going to mount it on the underside of a step on the rear ladder. The ladder steps don't heat up so it shouldn't effect the temp.

Finally doing a little more "fine tuning" to MH...
* Hung a digital clock w indoor/outdoor thermometer on wall between windows in slideout. I didn't mount outdoor sensor yet...not really sure where best place would be. I figure when we get to campsite I'll just stick it on top of cab so it won't get wet. Hope I can remember it before we drive off :( - woodworker414ExplorerWatch the snow melt off, hope that this year is better year, that we can get out and enjoy.

* Hung a magnetic knife holder on wall next to stove. Not sure if we'll leave knives hanging on holder while driving or not...leaning toward not! We had one in 5'er and never had knife fall off while towing.
* Did a little planning for table caddy and maybe some small open shelving to go on wall for cell phones, wallets, etc. - johnbhicksExplorerScraped and gooped, scraped and gooped. My arms are falling off! I found butyl covered by some anonymous substance covered by silicone, all bubbled up. No wonder it leaks.
Now I have only the other 3/4 to go....
