- HHfundaysExplorerWe had some spring weather in PA last week that got us all eager to hit the road. The weekend came and so did the rain! But we packed up anyway and took off. We had a lot of rain and wind, but also some great family time. Even the dog looked happier. Looking forward to a great season:) Happy camping everyone
- johnbhicksExplorerPicked up from the shop complete with a new Edelbrock carb and a new muffler to replace the one that fell off.:R
Now it's back to gooping and eternabonding. - RiplinExplorerWe picked it up from our local dealer. Of course we got it home intime to enjoy a small snow storm that rolled thru. We cant wait for better weather to take her out for our first trip. :)

I wish you great BIG luck :)
Man it makes me tired just listening to what you are trying to acomplish. I hope you get all your stuff done and have a GREAT! camping trip. Take care, Gary :B
Thanks Gary,
They DID get the winnie fixed... so after I got it home, I picked up my master cylinder and brake fluid (and a set of spark pugs, and some carb cleaner, the Lucas THICK stuff, hope it works), unwrapped my blistein shocks that the mail man dropped off today.
I checked out some pex water line couplings that i bought end of last season (too big, wrong size threads...) cant find my shop/drop light, so i called it an early night and will hit it hard in the morning. I DID hit all my shock bolts and master cylinder mounts with PB Blaster (good stuff) and read that its a great lube for stuff like fishing reels and stuff... so i shot a little on my throttle linkage too (hope thats not a bad thing)
SOOO... when i wake up at the crack of noon, i'm gonna be all over it.
Weather should be great, (also found my house battery, 3 months old, is DEAD...???) so i'll leave it plugged in overnight and see if my charger is working.
(sorry but the thread is, what have i done...)

Man, I'm feeling VERY envious of you right now, as I sit at work...about 12 years until I hit your stride....
Dan, your time will come soon enough. Enjoy the earning power that you have now, and put aside all the savings that you can. For most of us retiring is a dual edge sword, more time to enjoy, but less income to do all you would like to do. :)
Sage advice, Sir. Well taken. Nice rig, by the way. - InterludeExplorer

Major bathroom remodel in a 2/1 home means the moho has to pick up the slack. - DanpaineExplorer

My Jayco Seneca's came with a Samsung DVD home theater system that has worked reasonably well for the last four years, with the exception of the cheap speakers. I started looking at alternative speakers and quickly discovered that to get any reasonable fidelity on a 5.1 surround system, you could get a complete HTIB (Home Theater In Box) for about the same money. So armed with this reality, I'm off to the internet to find the best system on a limited budget
After much research and reading a lot of reviews, the Samsung HTBD-1250 seemed to be the one. It has a beautiful case that fits nicely in the current 17"w x 4"h opening and sports a Blu-ray player that upscales DVD's to near Blu-ray quality. It also plays CD's & MP3's, has an iPod/iPhone cradle, an FM tuner, a quality amplifier, and 5 small, but sonically superior speakers. Did I mention the sub woofer?
So what did I do today, I took my eBay delivery to the coach, and out with the old and in with the new. Now we have the best of both worlds while traveling around this beautiful country...the joys of nature during the day, and a great movie or the sweet sound of music at night. Being retired isn't all bad. :)

went to the transmission shop to see what the hold up was AGAIN.
they put it in 3 times so far and have not fixed it yet...
now they have a new case (TH400) and say it had to be a hair line crack somewhere loosing all the pressure to the low gear clutches.
I HAVE to have it back TOMORROW so i can work on it this weekend, i need to put on a new brake master cylinder and my BLISTIN shocks, get the kitchen and beds in order for a 3 day fishing trip the next weekend... still have to put the fresh water tank and a secion of new water line in and hope for no leaks.
wish me luck
