WE PICKED IT UP!! Just bought our first RV two days before Christmas (Merry Christmas to me! LOL) - 2009 Winnebago 30D. My husband flew to Chicago this morning to pick it up and drive it back to Florida.
Nice looking unit, congrats....
Do you have any pics of the inside with the slide out. - TreeSeekerExplorerStarfire5,
Very nice looking MH. I'll bet your husband is having one heck of an adventure with all this nasty weather. He'll have stories to tell! - jotapulgaExplorerInstalled a Draw-Tite Front Hitch - 65053 on the MH. I feel a lot better now knowing I have something up front that I can safely attach a tow cable to (Glamis), aside from having more hitch accessory options like bicycle rack, etc.
- DanpaineExplorerLooked at it, sitting under its cover under about a foot of snow, and wept bitterly.
C'mon, Spring. Make it snappy. - Mike__RoseExplorerI went outside to see my CLass C buried in 24" of new snow, 16" the week before. Yes, grown men cry! Went back inside the house and started to make campsite reservations for our next trip. I hope it melts soon so I can hit the road. LOL I also ordered a Coil n" Wrap for my water hose.

- ronfishermanModeratorArrived in what I had hoped would be a warm place. Its 42. Hope it warms up soon.
- RambleOnNWExplorer IIVisited rv in covered storage area, checked on Dry-z-air liquid amounts and humidity levels (max. humidity 73%, min temp 24F since we stored it 2.5 weeks ago). Next visit in another 2 weeks to take out for a drive, run generator, and probably charge house batteries overnight at home.
- oslo_in_ncExplorerI found a carpenter today. I have torn out the ceiling, insulation and 6 beams or trusses. The previous owner tore out the antenna in an accident and after a number of years everything rotted. I have to replace the fiber board liner and some areas where the beams rest. The carpenter said he should take a week or two to redo everything. His cost to me on this project is six hundred dollars. The basic materials will be about three hundred dollars.
I want this project done by spring so I can sell the rv that I am now living in. I will hate giving up my summer home(old rv) but alass I have difficulty driving two rv's anyway. When completed, I should have a total of about sixty five hundred dollars invested. I live full time in my rv. My rv is an 81 chev with an 82 Honey camper. I'm coverting the sofa into a bed and converting the bunk into a storage area. I'm 72 and a little too old to climb the ladder. - TyroneandGladysExplorer

Not a thing, waiting for above frigid temperatures to resolve fuel-pump issue. 55 degrees Sunday, and now 7 degrees above 0, wind howling, Texas(Pandhandle), is usually warm in the 50's in January..
I grew up in the Texas Panhandle and here is nothing between the Texas Panhandle and the North Pole but 2 tumbleweeds and a 4 wire barbed wire fence, and 3 of the wires are broke! Folks no kidding I have seen wind chill of -50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
