- jrlibbie09Explorerreplaced both flat screen tv holds with ones that tilt downward. Now kids happier when laying on couch, and better viewing while laying in bed in back. Going to use one of the old for side mounted bracket on the outside of the MH for tailgating at college football games.
Couple of days ago bought a tow dolly to tow car.
2008 Jayco Melbourne 29D (3 slides) - BerticusExplorerWell I just finished a few things on the rig. I used that silver/bubble insulation and covered the overhead and kitchen windows. I used velcro so that I can take off when ever I want to. I Also used this stuff to cover the main door and overlapped it over the frame. Also used velcro on the edges. This will be used primary for nights and when gone most of the day skiing. Did I mention that I am now winter camping.
The only thing left is tring to find some heavy throw rugs down for the dogs and some insulation on the floor.
Happy Camping, Robert. - happyjack2ExplorerTook it to a discount carpet store and hauled two 12 x 15 rugs back to put in basement rec room. (have a rear door on this model R-Vision Trail Lite)
- woodworker414ExplorerGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ its COLD, let see, put the tire covers on, ran the gen., moved stuff from one storage compartment, to other spots, need a big spot for the fishing stuff. Bill - DoxieBoxExplorerOpened up all the windows and doors and let the hot So Cal wind dry everything out in the cabover. Actually, that was a few days ago...
TODAY I set rat and mouse traps in my rig...to catch the dern varmints that climbed in the other day through the open windows and doors.... - rondebExplorerClimbed over the still 3 foot snow berm to get to the Class C and Travel Trailer. Took to covers off the exhaust pipes that go to the outside of the garage, made sure was free from snow and started both the C and the Genset. Checked for any evidence of mice, (NONE in the C or TT) never have had any, but I plan for them with bait, traps, bounce sheets everywhere. Checked the moisture containers and was almost none(I think it has been too cold for humidity this winter)
Started makeing a list of everything to do in the next 2 months to get RV'S and house ready to start traveling. - summerhouseExplorerRemembered yesterday that I put a small tabletop ceramic christmas tree on the counter...went out in near zero degree temp to retrieve it!! Brrrr--we have a whole week of these temps in front of us!!
- CalisdadExplorerUPS guy showed up at noon with a new sway bar! It was installed by 3 even with a beer break. Only had to drill 2 holes in the frame. Jack stands, creeper and air wrench earned their keep today. :B
