What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Picked it up from the garage and spent two hours washing it. I can't believe how long it takes to wash.

I went to where my 09 View is stored and admired the new carpet and vinyl.

I took it down to the garage to get OLF.

Did TWO THINGS that shoulda been done a long time ago - The day we drove our Bigfoot 29G home:

1.
Finally installed the hinge kit that reverses the way our Dometic Refrigerator doors swing to open & close.

2.
Finally installed the Thetford platform kit that raises the height of our toilet an additional 2½ inches. AAAaaaahhhh!

Today I replaced the two front, flexible rubber, brake lines. I picked them up at NAPA with the four copper sealing washers for 53 dollars. I wanted to use the factory OEM parts but the Ford Dealer in Salem, OR. wanted 190 dollars for the pair (115 right side, 75 for the left). My Minnie is 10 years old now with 32k miles. I had a slight pull to the right when the brakes were applied and going straight down the road.

Just returned from a test drive loop of 20 miles and found that the MH brakes straight and true in low and high speed applications of the pedal. No leaks now, as I was having a difficult time getting the caliper end of the brake line to seal.

We replaced the Kitchen Faucet, Installed a water purifier with faucet at the kitchen sink, replaced the shower faucet, installed a back up camera and installed an outside plug-in for the Direct TV cable. All to get ready to leave for a couple month trip.

I'm embarrased to say, but today is the first day I used the "city water" mode on our coach. For the almost 3 years we've owned our coach, we've spent over 100+ nights in it. Most of those have been in RV Parks with hookups. We've always used the water pump!!! I read a "water pump" thread here on RV.net and WHAM!!! It hit me that we could stop using the water pump when hooked up to a water source.

Off to the tire store today and got fitted with six new Michelin XPS Rib tires. Bank account took a bit of a hit.
Off tomorrow to Mosport International Raceway for weekend of beverages and greasy food and watch ALMS race, among others.

Filled the gray and black tanks to capacity with water and the GEO method ingrediants and drove 50 km on a variety of roads to give them a good slosh. Drained at the sani dump and back flushed. Cleaned up a few things as well getting ready for two back-to-back weekends of camping.

Over the weekend, I fixed 3 clearance lights that were out.
